    The NESCO home coffee roaster uses an auger to stir the beans which is quite different from the other hot air fluid roasters which use only the hot air to stir their beans. NESCO's patented Catalytic Converter helps to reduce the amount of smoke that is emitted during the roasting cycle.

    I have owned the NESCO roaster for just shy of 1 year. I roast about 20 oz (4 batches) every week and have done so since purchase. I purchased some extra screens and rings so I can do the batches back to back. I am thrilled with it , roastings are perfect. Roasts take awhile but are well worth it.

    This little roaster is a true workhorse! I have owned the original Zach & Dani's model for years and years, and the most expensive repair was a bearing after approx. 200 pounds (yes, pounds!) of coffee had been roasted. The cost to repair and return to me? Under $25. Because I was afraid I'd run out of home roasted coffee, I purchased the newer model available here - I've not had anything but my home roasted coffee since purchasing my first roaster. You would be hard pressed to find a better home machine for the money!!
