Brazil Cerrado Natural 17/18

SKU BRACERRADO

Starting at $5.25 / lb
As low as $3.75 / lb

Sweet and nutty (peanuts) with the signature ashy (not in a bad way at all) note of Brazilians, a hint of citrus and a little vanilla surprise on the finish. As an espresso base (I like this as a single-origin espresso as well; it makes a really fine drip/press/vac cup as too!), teamed with a smooth, chocolaty Central and a fruity Ethiopian, it can have your taste buds doing the tango in no time!

Vibrant and spicy, this is a heavy coffee reminiscent of the atmosphere on this tropical paradise.

Brilliant acidity, a medium body, and sweet flavors of orange citrus, caramelized sugar, and fine chocolate. It is impeccably balanced with a long, satisfying finish

Excellent body, deep, rich. complex and bright. Fruity (currants and plums) overtones with a nice chocolate background, just a hint of earthiness and a long, satisfying finish.

I like the taste of this coffee, it smells great too, but the flavor you get is exotic and full bodied. My goto coffee is La Menta Tres Rios, but this coffee is the firstI found to compete or rather complement. The "it can have your tastbuds doing the tango in no time!" is a great description.

What a nice cup! Just tasted my first roast of this bean. Roasted medium to get all the notes of the bean. Nutty front tone with a bit of earthy on the back. Not even a hint of bitterness. Smooth as silk.

Maybe it's me, but after 4 roasts, I just can't get this one to turn out well. I've tried all over between 1st & 2nd crack and it consistently tastes overroasted and bitter. Not a fan.
