Brazil SWP Decaf is produced by farmers belonging to cooperatives in the Cerrado region within the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Cerrado region, the newest of three major Brazilian growing regions, has been building in reputation and production over the last few decades. Coffee in this region is grown on high plateaus at elevations peaking just over 1,000 meters above sea level. The region also has relatively mild weather patterns providing a more predicable climate for processing coffee. Royal Select Water Decaf coffee is sourced from lots based on cupping evaluations. After selection, the green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor. Cupping Notes: MOLASSES, BUTTERCREAM ICING, MILK CHOCOLATE

I use a popcorn popper for roasting so it's hard to say the bean is great or not. It may be my process. However, it tastes better than any store bought coffee.
