This one we enjoyed after dinner. I expected it to be heavier, but while it was rich and wide, there was nothing lumbering about it. Roasted to a few seconds into 2C it had a wide, silky quality and that "Minas Gerais" flavor as my brain recorded it in the past: the toasted marzipan of hot cross buns. Roasted just to the end of 1C, the marzipan is lighter, more like a Christmas-pig, plus something like smooth German milk chocolate. The fruit note reminds me of Cotlets--a Washington state dried-apricot-and walnut jelly candy much beloved of the long-distance backpackers in my youthful circles, back when the candies were made with real sugar. There was also something of a ripe red currant jelly quality. Just delightful. Looking forward to roasting it a few points darker as well. Thank you, CBC!

Very good! Nice well rounded cup. In my experience it took a little longer to roast. I got a FC+. Very smooth. It is definitely a contender for rotation.

Love this smooth, rich organic bean. I combine it with 25% organic Sumatra And for a delicious full bodied, cocoa textured espresso - roasted till just at the start of second crack.
