This is a new Washed, Red Bourbon variety of coffee from the Ngozi Province of Burundi. The number 13 refers to the lot number of this specific coffee that was rated the absolute best in this year’s crop. The cherries are double fermented and sun-dried on raised beds. Usually, Burundi coffees have an amazing sour taste like green apples and this one is no different.
Cupping Notes: Green Apple, Caramel, Vanilla, Raspberry, Plum, and Mulling Spice with a nice, syrupy body.
