I always enjoy geisha beans, and this coffee was no exception. It's excellent with a bit of chocolate flavor and also a little fruity. I also want to complement Coffee Bean Corral on their customer service. They accidentally sent the wrong coffee. Accidents happen, and upon notification they responded quickly and the correct beans arrived so fast I was amazed. Thanks again for great customer service.

Really enjoying this Geisha. I have heard great things about these beans and I have to admit I wasn't disappointed with my first taste. Rich and warm on the palette. Very pleased with this purchase and roast!

It's a delicious coffee. The most salient aspect of the bean roasted to a full city level is balance. Arguably, I should have gone a bit lighter, as I think I obscured some of the lighter origin notes. This bean has taught me what a bright acidity tastes like in concert with a full mouthfeel when made with a pour-over. This was the first geisha I had tried. It's clean with little to no astringency.
I also made espresso from the coffee. Very good. A bit too bright, lacking some of the chocolate/nutty aspects that I really enjoy in espresso to achieve classic status, but for those of you who love lighter espressos, this will be a winner. In fairness, I'm comparing it to my standard, the Ferdelance blend from CBC, which everyone MUST try.
Overall, it's great - likely not worth the increased price point for me compared to many of the other outstanding coffees here at CBC, but I'm thrilled I tried it.

Before I start on a review of this coffee, I just want to warn people who have mesh drums. I didn't realize that the beans were that small and it wasn't until my drum stopped on my Behmor that I figured it out. Just remember to shake the drum before you roast to check if beans fall out.
Pulled out my old Fresh Roast 500 and roasted into the second crack. The coffee was excellent. It was very clean tasting with just a hint of chocolate. It is a little pricey but worth it to the very last drop.
