  • Brazil Daterra Pearl Bourbon Peaberry RFA
A harmonious coffee with pronounced sweetness in the aftertaste. Try a medium/medium dark roast to bring out distinctive nuttiness with a hint of soft fruit and low acidity.
  • Ethiopia Kembata Natural Gr 1
Cupping notes: Blueberry, Strawberry, and Milk Chocolate.
  • Ferdelance Espresso Blend CBC Blend
Roast it lighter and enjoy a creamy chocolate espresso drink with a dominant nutty taste, or take it to the limit and get the bittersweet end of the spectrum. Very versatile and quite complex.
  • Sulawesi Kalossi
From the Indonesian island previously known as Celebes. This coffee is a personal favorite - an outstanding cup for those who like full-bodied & aromatic.
  • Timor Organic Maubesse FTO
The cup is spicy and herbal, with good acidity and an excellent body. It is earthy with deep notes of woody herbs and spices and the mild body finishes with a smooth consistency and a sweet hint of syrup and dark chocolate.

Loved the Sumatra and the Haiti. This was my first time trying a sample pack. It’s a great way to give new roasters some direction.

So far I have roasted the Ethiopia Longberry Deep Blue Harrar and the Brazil Organic Santa Cristina Natural. I am using the Brazil as a French Press coffee and the Ethiopian as an Espresso. I like the Brazil coffee fine, the Ethiopian is a little bitter and has a lot of chaff on the beans after roasting, which I had to remove after cooling. I like Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, just not this variety.
