Coffee in Yemen is grown on mountainsides 1,500-2,900 meters above sea level. This coffee was grown in the regions surrounding Bani Ismail district. Ismaili is also the name of the variety from the region. It is characterized by smaller, more rounded beans than many other varieties and offers a more delicate flavor profile than most Yemen origin coffees.

These beans are naturally sun-dried on rooftops.

Cupping Notes: Sweet, heavy body, strawberry, chocolate, and nuttiness.
