This is a wonderful coffee from, at least in this coffee lover's opinion, a very overlooked origin. This is a smooth, medium-bodied coffee with tons of character. It has a slightly muted winey/citrus brightness and nice earthy note and a spicy finish. As the cup cools a bit, it reveals some chocolate and peanut background. A very nice coffee from an origin that should get much more attention.

It starts with a bold aroma while it's still brewing and carries right on into a complex earthiness with hints of cocoa, nuts and a very well-balanced cup, with just enough wineyness to keep you on your toes. Sounds like a lot from a simple not-so-little coffee bean, but you will end up with a wonderful cacophony lingering on your palate.

Try before you stock up with a 1/2 pound sample!

Great roast from one of my favorite regions. I've been looking for good harrar for years and this fits the bill.

Crisper, if that’s the right word, than my usual Harar. Bright taste, envision a "coffee fruit beverage".
