These stoppers work very well & last a long time. I try to always have extras on hand just in case. When I first started brewing the Filtron way, I put the stopper on the inside - a mistake you only make once 😬! They have changed the material of the stoppers over the years & these last longer & hold tighter. A tip- I always put my Filtron on a plate while brewing & only pull the stopper over the plate when I’m ready to drain so I can pour any drips into the carafe. My plug pulling has improved over the years;-) Still cautious to preserve every drip.
