This coffee this year is forward and complex and will seduce you.

Bright, forward acidity marks this cup of coffee. Classic for a Kenyan with intense flavor and followed after a second with full body and rich, complex flavors, floral orchid, lily notes and fruity red grape hints with a nutty aftertaste that is pleasant and long. Richer and more body than previous years, this coffee has added a dimension of depth.

Mount Lenana is the third highest peak in Kenya and, like Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya, a volcano. It is the combination of high altitude and rich volcanic soils that make for such prized coffees. This particular Kenyan is grown on small family and cooperative estates at the base of Mount Lenana. Enjoy it anytime, but especially good as a midday cup. Neither too sweet nor too heavy, it will keep you energized through the afternoon.

Especially good as a single origin espresso.
