This is a wonderful coffee from, at least in this coffee lover's opinion, a very overlooked origin. This is a smooth, medium-bodied coffee with tons of character. It has a slightly muted winey/citrus brightness and nice earthy note and a spicy finish. As the cup cools a bit, it reveals some chocolate and peanut background. A very nice coffee from an origin that should get much more attention.

It starts with a bold aroma while it's still brewing and carries right on into a complex earthiness with hints of cocoa, nuts and caramel...in a very well-balanced cup, with just enough wineyness to keep you on your toes. Sounds like a lot from a simple not-so-little coffee bean, but you will end up with a wonderful cacophony lingering on your palate.

Crisper, if that’s the right word, than my usual Harar. Bright taste, envision a "coffee fruit beverage".
