Here's How It Works:

Each week, we'll choose one of our most popular coffees to offer with our Roasted-to-Order service. By partnering with a local Specialty Coffee roastery, we're able to offer a 12 oz limited-release Roasted-to-Order coffee for you to enjoy -- no effort or roasting equipment required!

This is a great way to try coffees you haven't roasted yourself, or test your skills against the pros roasting the same coffees you know and love.

At this time, we're offering only one pre-selected coffee per week, no substitutions or returns. Pre-orders run from Monday through Sunday, with roasted coffee being shipped out by Wednesday.

Roasted coffee ships the following Wednesday after it’s roasted fresh. Orders with both roasted and green coffee ship together to save you shipping costs. Need your green coffee sooner? Just place a separate order and we’ll send it right out!

Medium Roasted: Burundi Twaranyuzwe Co-op Kavumu

This natural processed Bourbon comes from the Twaranyuzwe Cooperative in Kavumu, Burundi, founded in 2013 by smallholder farmers whose name means “we have understood” — a commitment to investing in coffee’s future. This lot represents the work of 915 specialty producers, 490 of whom are cooperative members.

Grown up to 1840 meters and delivered to the Kavumu Washing Station, only ripe red cherries are selected. After careful hand sorting, the coffee is pre-dried in the shade, then sun-dried on raised beds for 10–15 days.

The result is a vibrant cup bursting with tropical fruit — pineapple and green apple brightness layered with jammy sweetness and cherry depth — a shining example of Burundi’s remarkable highland terroir.

Cupping Notes: Pineapple, jam, green apple, and cherry notes with tropical fruit brightness; very high acidity, average body; high sweetness with vibrant fruit-forward character and juicy complexity.
