I am very happy with the quality, but have not yet figured out how to get 1/2 lb of coffee in them when in bean form. I get about 5 oz total of roasted beans at best. It doesn't really matter because it is the perfect size for me to roast up several varieties of coffee to off-gas. I am re-using the bags because they are just for myself. I print a label and stick to the outside of what coffee it contains along with the date roasted. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because for those that care it doesn't really hold 8 oz.

Great bags for packaging and selling coffee. They are easily sealed with a heat sealer and with the addition of a label, you can meet packaging requirements. I love the window to show off the intensity of the roast. I highly recommend them.

Perfect size for the roaster I use. Its nice that they are resealable and reusable.
Not too expensive, so I can give away samples to friends and family.

I like to use the 1/2lbs bags so I can gift the coffee I roast to friends and coworkers. I like the quality of the bag easy to write on.

Makes a very nice bag to gift coffee. Thick poly bag, very good quality will not leak or allow oxygen diffuse into the bag. I Filled the bag with fresh roasted beans and sealed with a impulse heat sealer. After 2 days the bag was distended. A light squeeze and trapped CO2 was released from the valve. I have used these bags to gift roasted coffee. I prefer to store roasted beans in a mason jar under vacuum.

The bags are very good quality but they are too thick and the bag itself doesn't really expand well once the beans are roasted. Maybe they are best used for beans only when someone roasts coffee just before use. Plus I also put my bags in a container that is also sealed.
My preferences are the brown bags that are smaller and easier to work with.

The quality of the bags are excellent, specially for the the price. Only issue were to put 1lb of roasted coffee beans were little tight since beans do expand when roasted.

I am very happy with these bags, one had a bad baffle, but the rest worked fine, i would recommend this product for anyone spending money to buy such fine coffee.

I needed these bags in a pinch , due to being out of stock. I was very impressed with the Quality , and they work perfect for 1 lb of coffee. I like that there is a window to see the coffee and all it’s roasted deliciousness. The bags shipped super quick , and arrived within only a few days. The only thing I wish is that there where more options for larger quantities.

Great product. I like the clear side which allows me to view the color if the roast. The sold side is a good surface to write a description of the enclosed beans. I use a non-permanent marker and erase the information when I switch beans.

At 62 and a half cents each, these easy to use plastic bags hold up to a half pound of roasted beans and include a has release valve. The clear side allows you to see the color of the roast, and the solid side gives you a background to use a a contrast to measure the darkness if each roast. They reseal easily and preserve the freshness of the roasted beans. I only wish they sold them in a larger quantity. I just order several four packs at a time.

For my daughters birthday gift this year, I gave her a subscription to Pappy's Roasting Club and will send her a fresh roast each month at her birth date throughout the year. These bags will be just the right way to send her the coffee beans via USPS. Very festive color with the gold finish. Very satisfied with my purchase from CBC. Shipping was quick.
