Every coffee in this African sample pack is great and unique. I have always been a huge fan of Ethiopian coffees, but the Rwanda and Tanzania really jump out as great beans! So much natural sweetness and I love the fruitiness in many African coffees. This is my first time ordering from Coffee Bean Corral and it won't be my last! :)

New to 'home roasting' so this was a great way to work on the process plus sample coffee from Africa which normally is not available around here. Will do additional countries soon.

This is absolutely worth it. We are having so much fun working through these coffees. Tanzania is so far the winner, but we would easily buy any of them again. All are very fruit and acidic. Best roasted light. Stop right after first crack. It can be hard to hear the crack with these guys so makes sure you watch the color. I stopped at a chestnut brown each time and got a good result.

I love these, but I honestly think I burned all of them. These are very hard to dark roast. I am not sure if I should medium or light roast these. I managed to roast not one as good as I do the Latin American samples.

I am just finishing up this sample pack and I am loving it. Bold, smooth and lots of flavors in every kind. I liked it so much I bought another for my son who can't stop raving about it. Now I think I'll be roasting for two.

Bought 5 sample packs to play around with a blend I can use for espresso and that my wife will like for cappuccino and French press coffee. So far we haven't hit ther right mix, but I'm sure enjoying all of the near misses so far. The Ethiopian in this African sampler is really nice as a dark espresso, maintained nice acidity into second crack (not through, just into).

This is my first time roasting beans, and after two not so good tries, I managed to get a batch and not burn or leave a bunch of beans unroasted. Even as I'm learning to roast, I could still tell these beans made great coffee.
