This is not for the weak hearted. After making a moderately dark roast, and medium grind my wife proceeded to brew the first pot. The Muhahaha in the background and the lightning strike should have been a hint. When I got to work, and drank said coffee it kicked in immediately. Usually at lunch I take a nap, however today I was unable to. I am not sure, but I think this blend may have been baned in some states as a controlled substance. Drink with pleasure.

Just had my first cup. I roasted a batch Friday. Everything in the description. Although the caffeine hasn't hit me yet. The aroma is classic with all the nuttiness and full, rounded coffee smells coming from the grinder. I pulled mine after the first crack. It's delicious, smooth, low acid, and silky. I will be ordering this again.

Don't really care for it. It is high octane, but has too much robusta flavor. For caffeine it's fine, but for coffee flavor it's not great.

Good blend. Has a bold flavor and did feel the kick. My favorite morning coffee. Would recommend.

Roasted to the very first audible crack of second crack. A great cup with just the right amount of caffeine jolt. It will be my morning go to.

I didn't have high hopes for this blend when roasting. The green smell during the drying phase was particularly strong. I took it just to the first crackles of second crack and the SR800 was pumping out more smoke than I've seen even from other beans going well into second crack. The smoke smell was more acrid and unpleasant as well. My 8 year old even commented on the smoke.
I was surprised, however, after giving it two days to offgas. It wasn't unpleasant at all. I mean, it wasn't Onobeano's Latte or anything but certainly on par with decent store bought beans. I really can't say if I'd purchase again. I think of you're going the roast your own route, that flavor outweighs caffeine content.
