Decaf Coffees Sample Pack

All the coffees in the sample pack were great, however I was surprised when one of the 5 was a solvent based decaf despite their website saying "However, at Coffee Bean Corral, we only source water processed decaf beans. Our customers think it tastes better, and it's just as effective as the chemical method." I'm not subtracting any stars because it was listed in the sample pack description I just missed it. That coffee was good but I starting roasting my own because I drink only swiss water decaf coffee and there is a limited selection for this in grocery stores. Now about the coffee. I was blown away. Yes each variety is a little different but they were all better than any decaf I have ever bought in the store. I can't say I have a favorite. They all have there own place. The only quirk was the Purosa beans roasted very quickly, almost no sound of First crack and quickly into second crack. There was no difference in color even after reaching deep into 2nd crack. I was worried but that coffee turned out smooth and mild without any burnt flavor. I have since ordered a sample of each remaining variety because tasting the differences in each is half the enjoyment for me,

First attempt at roasting. I think I’m hooked! Bought the decaf pack for my wife. But I’m drinking it too. I like the sample pack concept as we learn what we like. Very impressed with Coffee Bean Corral as well. Good info, easy to use.

Great value shipped quickly. I haven't tried them all yet but I love having truly fresh coffee.

Idea of the 1/2 pound sample packs is novel and a very great way to sample a variety of beans. I am a very pleased customer of CBC!

I have roasted 2 of these sample 1/2 lbs, the Honduras and the Brazil. Both were not just good decaf, they were very good coffee without any off flavors that require masking with a blend of caff and decaf. I can drink these with great enjoyment as straight espresso-a first in my long experience of espresso drinking. These were both Water Mountain process, rather than Swiss Water Process, and I haven’t tried the three Swiss Water process yet. I highly recommend this sample pack as an opportunity to find an excellent decaf. Just finding one good decaf would have made this worth the price, and so far I have netted two!

Easy and interesting way to sample different beans and plan for future purchases. Have tried two so far. One interestingI and one very good. Can’t wait to try the others .

The sample pack is exactly what I was looking for. All have been very good coffees.

This is an excellent starter pack !!! I get tired of looking at 20 dollars to see if I like the coffee. This way I got 6 different types, with enough in each baggy to get the roast time right, and make a real taste test and choose the one I like. The only problem is....I love all of them !!!! I am ruined on store bought Decaf. Roasting my own fresh Decaf beans and my Areopress has totally changed my taste for Decaf coffee. I'm 57 and a coffee drinker all my life since I was a kid. I WILL continue to buy these awsome beans !!! Now I Can relax.

I’ve tried the 4 organic coffees and have enjoyed each one.

As expected, and that is a good thing.
