Roasted to 2nd crack. This coffee has a lot going on as far as flavors go. The flavor explodes on your tongue and has a nice citrus but still smooth aftertaste. It’s now my favorite coffee roasted to a medium dark color. It’s also an excellent light roast with lots of bright citrus flavors, very refreshing cup o Jo. This coffee smells like nothing else, it’s quite an amazing bean.

This is my favorite coffee bean in all of South or Central America. I just received my 5 pound bag. In fact, I just received my other 5 pound of Pearl Bourbon. Both my most favorite bean.

Found these beans to be easy to roast and after multiple roasts my sweet spot was just starting second crack! the flavor was smooth with no bitterness. Had a nice chocolaty taste. this will be a regular in my orders.

This is the second time ordering this bean. I brewed a cup using a Bonavita drip maker for this review. Coffee was roasted in an RK Drum to city. The flavor is bold, definitely nutty, smooth and rich. It is a very good cup of coffee.

Our new favorite. Makes great espresso and pour over. Lighter roasts bring out some more unique flavors, but darker still provides excellent flavor.

This is my favorite coffee at The Coffee Bean Corral. It's smooth, not too bitter, has a nice chocolate undertone, rich in flavor, and it roasts well to a nice even dark roast. I know the description says it's good with a light roast, but I roast this dark, past the second crack and it's delicious.

Full of flavor and all the good attributes you want in a cup of coffee. It's aroma will draw people over to see what your roasting or brewing. I believe it's better on the dark roasted side which will highlight it's chocolate flavor.
Superb bean for use in a French Press. Surprisingly low acidity no matter how strong you brew. Great caffeine kick to start your day. It's everything that most house blended coffees wish they were in body and flavor.
If your looking for that one bean to give you reason and purpose to purchase a roaster and go down the rabbit hole that will lead you to vacuum pots and blending your own roast. This is the bean you want to start with 👍

Hands down some of the best bean I’ve brewed! Crisp finish no after taste low acidity delicious taste clean palette finish makes an awesome all day coffee. Even sitting on a hot plate warmer for a couple hours I thought it may scorch but it was still just like first brew. This bean is definitely excellent and I’m gonna start using a whole lot more. Daterra Estate I wanna come visit !

For the past several roasts, i've used this bean as the base for my espresso blends. I went through my first order, and saw that it was still available at CBC, so i bought more. To start with, the grind of this bean is like butter. It just looks like a rich and flavorful grind! When i pull a shot, it produces an outstanding crema, and is very rich in its flavors of chocolate, some caramel, and a sweet nuttiness, almost like a cashew. Very sweet, but not much fruit in this bean, though. Very low bitterness, and it's acidity is much fuller and richer than sharp. This might not be what everyone looks for in their coffee, but it is what i look for and is what i try to achieve in my roasts. I like this bean, and am thrilled i can get it at CBC!

I love my Sweet Blue beans. I am roasting for almost two years and i have tried many variates. By no means an expert but with this bean I always succeed to roast a nice batch. This is probably because the bean forgives mistakes in roasting precision and has great results around the medium roast (anything between 1st and 2nd crack). Dark roast did not work for me. I am addicted to the aroma of the roasted beans when i open my jar in the morning (which develops on day 2), the sweetness of the brew, and the chocolate and nutty notes. I love my Sweet Blue beans!
ps
Packaging is always a pleasure to open - coffee bags are so cute. Well done guys!

I generally like the profile of Brazillian beans. To that end I have purchased four different Brazillians over the last few months. This one is easily my favorite. It roasts consistently with typical temps and times. The nutty and chocolate flavors along with a very nice crema are the highlights for me.

I wrote a review on my enjoying this coffee in March 2022. I just received another 20 lbs. that I ordered from Coffee Bean Corral. Their packaging, shipping times, shipping costs, and responsiveness are all top-rate. Definitely have become my go-to place for green coffee beans

Roasted to 30 seconds into second crack and that seems to be the best for me. Chocolate notes are strong and a smooth buttery finish. Excellent for espresso.

Brazil beans are one of my favorites. I personally found this one to be one of my favorites so far. I tried it in a light roast, medium roast and a dark roast. All were great. I've been drinking the medium roast in a French press with a few of the dark roast beans mixed in. I find it to have a nutty, earthy, dark chocolate taste. It's become my go to cup in the morning. I will be ordering more of this for sure. CBC is a fantastic company with excellent customer service and fast shipping. Thank you CBC!!

I roast this one to 145F in my Behmore and it has become my all- time favorite. Very well balanced with just the right amount of acid to bring it to life. Spicy with great chocolate flavors. I highly recommend this one!

Thank you Coffee Bean Corral. From around 2000-2007, Blue de Brasil was a favorite coffee of mine. And then it disappeared. It is great to see it back, albeit with a slightly different name. It is still the same color and great taste. I like it best just past a full city roast. I have had several people accuse me of adding some chocolate to the cup.

Much lighter than I expected based on the Matrix. I roasted it to City Brew, maybe I'll try it past second crack as recommended by others. It's okay, but doesn't live up to the expectations.

The raw beans really are blue. I roasted them to medium-dark. On my roaster, that's 12 minutes at 200 C, and then five minutes at 240 C. I brewed it in my Bialetti and shared it with two of my friends/test subjects. It yielded a rich smooth arabica flavor with notes of spicy chocolate. The consensus was that it was absolutely delicious. You DON'T want to miss out on this selection!
In designing my label, I searched the internet for a picture of a chocolate bar.

Now, what do I do with all the other coffee you've sold me? This one just blew the doors off. Independent source, no blending necessary or desired. Really nice coffee. Any danger of seasonally running out of it?

Used for espresso, in rancillio Silvia. Produced rich crema.

Makes for a smooth cup of coffee. This was our first attempt at roasting at home (using a whirley pop) and we call it a success. Did a medium roast as that's our normal preference. Good classic coffee flavor with hints of chocolate and sweetness as drip, pour over, and espresso.

Likes to be roasted a little on the light side. But can also work for a darker roast for espresso. Overall very good
