raw green bean Green coffee is raw Roast prior to consumption

This new Kenyan Peaberry Plus is grown in rich, volcanic soil with ample rainfall which is an ideal climate for the development of the aroma and flavor notes that this country's coffees are known for. The PB Plus refers to the smaller screen size, 15/16 and the quality of this bean. Most farms in this part of Kenya are found near the second tallest mountain in Africa- Mt. Kenya. Each country in this region has a number of small farms that work together to make up local grower association and cooperatives as well as larger estates which gives the country a diverse production base.

Cupping Notes: Clean and well balanced with a smooth medium body, crisp and vibrant acidity and a sweet brown sugar aroma with flavor notes of orange, blackberry, grapefruit and nectarine.

Excellent. I like to roast light to bring out the brightness in the cup and this is so good. One of the best I've had. Citrus fruit comes to mind with a very pleasant aftertaste. Be careful because most of the chaff doesn't come off so it appears as if it's not roasting. Keep in mind that I roast really light so this may not be an issue with darker roasts. That said chaff will not effect the taste so it's really not anything to worry about it's just something to be aware of so you don't roast too dark. Highly recommended.

I am partial to coffee from this region. Roasted between 1st and 2nd crack. Smooth crisp coffee with citrus notes. Checked all the boxes for Kenyan peaberry. The bean quality was excellent. Service from Coffee Bean Corral is excellent. .

Made a pot of this this morning. It was roasted 5 days ago. Oh, my goodness was it tasty.

I've tried a few dozen beans this year, but I am re-ordering now for the 3rd time. The most fragrant bean for me so far.

I roasted this 2 days before leaving to go snow camping. I brought my Lido 3 grinder, AeroPress and Vario V60. After 5 full days of rest, we brought this out on a 25-degree morning and it packed the complexity of a dessert bar. From orange to berry notes while at 150F, it sampled Cadbury chocolate bar at 135F as the cup cooled. When we got home, we made espresso and it was all Dutch Chocolate in the shot. We had it straight, then with honey then with cream. It was so good from Day 1 in camp that I got on my iPad to order more with campground wifi -- this was a coffee I didn't want to run out of. Roasting Notes -- I took it to 413F with 16% development the first time. When I roasted a second batch, I went 420 and it was quickly darker at the same dev %. Be careful. The second batch was richer body and pushed the chocolate flavors deeper. Both very very good, but the creaminess at 413 was my favorite.

For me the grapefruit note came through the most. A well rounded taste for anytime of day.

Excellent coffee! I like to roast a lighter roast on this one as well, I typically roast medium/ dark because that is what my customers like here in Texas, however, I wanted to try a light roast. I would highly recommend!

Kenya Peaberry is one of my favorite coffees. Roast in a popcorn popper to between Stockholm Roast and second crack. Orange Marmalade flavor, smooth. never a bad cup.

Read the cupping notes in the description, it's pretty spot on. Smooth medium body.

I like a medium roast. These beans were smaller than others I have tried. These beans are "not my cup of tea" if you know what I mean. They weren't bad but I wouldn't call them good either. Lets just say the coffee was drinkable. So far my favorites come from Ethiopia and Honduras. Maybe if I had tried a light roast the results would have been different.

This coffee was not good. Where do all the 5 stars come from?? I would have given it 1 star but i just feel like a nice guy today. I purchased 6 different coffee samples and they were all garbage. I find it real strange that they were all rated 5 stars. I no longer trust these reviews nor this company.
