It's our favorite coffee. I clicked on your website by mistake and ordered and didn't realize it was green coffee beans. Called to cancel, but Katie convinced me the process to roast was not hard to do. Thank you Katie for informing me of the roasting process. Now we bought a roaster from you and enjoy the fresh coffee every day. Great coffee and amazing company.

Did not crack at all using SR540 with extension tube. Waiting for fist crack and ended up burnt! Almost seems like this has been roasted already?
I am so sorry you ran into this issue. This coffee is decaffeinated so the beans themselves are very dark to start off with because of the decaffeination process. First crack is really hard to hear with a decaf coffee because of the processing it goes through. It decreases the density of the coffee and reduces the moisture content so it doesn't have the same pop. I would suggest looking for visual cues instead in the future!

For health reasons my wife needs organic decaf, which I also use in my half-caf. Roasts nicely and fairly evenly (just past 2nd crack). Hearty smooth taste and is hard to distinguish from regular. Not the perfect decaf as the flavor isn't perfect (only found one of those in my life), but about as good as it gets for decaf. Totally worth it

This is a fav with my friends who drink decaf! It’s never as strong as it’s caffeinated counterpart yet it’s as satisfying as a good cup of decaf can be. Bold. Can take vice addins and still have good flavor. We seem to like it best roasted just into second crack. It’s a bit pricey overall but certainly a fav.

Always good quality and body. I dark roast it and mix with Sumatra Mandheling or Mexican Mocabe for a pleasant half-caf.

This is our favorite bean so far...rich and delicious without being bitter at all. It also mixes well with other full caff beans, complimenting their flavor profile. We will soon order several pounds to store in the fridge until we roast them throughout the year!

Took these to FC+ (just into second crack) and my taste-buds can confirm that this is very close to a regular Sumatra (which I also have in stock). As with pretty much any other Sumatra, I'm not looking for a super clean cup with the higher notes. I'm expecting and earthy/herbaceous/chocolate combo, and this decaf fits the bill! I can't say that the typical "graham cracker" taste that specialty decafs are known for is really there much. Maybe way in the background, but that could just be my mind overlaying my expectations? lol. In any case, this is certainly worth getting.

I can't drink regular coffee anymore due to excessive acid, so I am trying new organic decaf coffee. I love good coffee flavor, but not blended brands.
