On a small farm in the Durame Village, this Heirloom variety is grown at 2100 meters above sea level in fertile soil ideal for growing the highest quality coffee beans. Once the beans have completed a 36–48-hour fermentation process in a wet mill, they are laid in raised beds to dry in the sunlight. These Ethiopian beans can spend up to 21 days drying to ensure they’re ready for export.

This was my 4th purchase of this coffee. I roast until my infrared thermometer hits about 400-410. Just after first crack. I love the fruitiness with the blueberry notes. If you like a fruity coffee try it and experiment roasting a little, you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite naturals so far. I got strawberry jam notes at a city roast. I took it out about 30s into FC. Probably the more fruit forward coffee I've had so far, I blended with another bean that was earthy and spicy and it came out delicious, resembling a strawberry pepper jam. I'm going to come back to this bean eventually as an regular.

Seriously big fruit flavors. Roasted to beginning of 2nd crack and just awesome flavor. Wife who isn’t really picky noted “that coffee this morning was amazing, what was it?” Will test roasting a bit lighter but super happy with it.

I got this in the African sample pack, roasted it as a lighter medium, let it sit for a couple days, and when I ground it I was immediately blown away. The aroma is unlike any coffee I’ve ever had before. The flavor is very fruity. I think I see what others are calling blueberry. It’s amazing. I went on here before I even finished my first cup of espresso, but found it out of stock. I’ll be counting the days until I can get this one again.

Blueberry bomb! I roast medium light. As is typical of Ethiopian beans, the quality control isn't great, so expect to have a handful appear to roast very light. Pick 'em up and most will seem to weigh less than the others. There is a direct correlation. Don't let it fool you into thinking that you didn't roast correctly. Its the bean, not you.

This was tricky to roast evenly at first, and I still haven't quite mastered it. With that said, it still tastes great as a light roast just past 1st crack. Pretty sweet, not too much acidity, very smooth.

Great coffee with lots of chocolate and roasted nut notes. Nice complexity and balanced. This is an Ethiopian for folks who don't like Ethiopian.

I just pulled my first shot from roasting five pounds of this, and it is absolutely freaking delicious. I immediately ordered ten more pounds. I roasted in 1# batches in my Behmor, each roast slightly darker. I started at the end of first crack, and by the last batch I stopped ten seconds into second crack.

I run 1kg batches of this in my 2kg gas roaster. Drop it into a drum at 400 degrees and turno off heat for 1 minute. After one minute I run light heat to get through the drying cycle around the 5 to 5:30 mark before ramping up. Dropped the City Roast when bean temperature was at 420. Great flavor! Blueberry Sweet and cupping notes from Coffee Bean Corral are spot on. Ethiopian Natural is the favorite coffee in my home. Wife and I love it! This is one of the best that we have ever had.

Great coffee and easy to roast. Went to a lighter medium Roast. The aroma of this coffee fills an entire room before its even brewed. Clean tasting with good body. It was a big hit for several military guys, which can be hard to do if the coffee isn't dark, strong, and heavy bodied.

This coffee is great the way I use it. I roast it slowly until it is golden and then grind it for excellent Arabic ground coffee.

"Fruity" is an understatement! It smells fruity before you even roast it. I've never smelled raw coffee that was anything like it. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I love the blueberry. And the picture doesn't do it justice. Unlike the picture, mine is very uniform, and roasts very uniformly. I blended this half and half with some coffee that was a bit to earthy for me without much fruitiness, and the blueberry still came through strong with the earthiness completely subdued. This is a wonderful morning coffee to perk up your taste buds and nose. Maybe a bit overkill for later in the day unless blended. It's only been a couple of days since it was roasted so maybe it will mellow out some. I'm certainly not worried about losing the blueberry, but maybe some more chocolatey notes will come out. I'll bet you could push this well into the second crack without losing the blueberry. I roasted it much darker than I normally like, almost to second crack, but it didn't matter.
