These are some of my favorite beans. I typically roast for 4.5 mins, just before second crack. Great flavor.

I bought this coffee to blend with beans from Yemen. The result was an excellent Mocca Java. I roasted them just past 2nd cracking and was very happy with the results.

This coffee is fantastic. Full flavored but no bitter after taste. Your taste buds go through a range of flavors with every sip. It is a great coffee for a very low price.

Mild with no bite or bitterness. Easy to drink. Roasted/ground has a good nose. Screened 13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20. Roasted small batches of similar size to first crack plus a bit. Sieved 800-1400 micron. 9.5 gm/6 oz cup. Can sieve finer and/or brew stronger. Probably not a dark roast candidate. Not the best choice for caffeine crackheads using an IV drip like that guy in my rear view mirror.

These are great beans. Roasted just into second crack with the Hottop.
I brewed some up after just two days resting and it's smooth, balanced and round. A rich cup with great flavors and a finish without any bitterness in a darker roast, is always welcomed.

It tastes too simple, plain, and ordinary for me. I bought 5 lbs right off...should have been a 1/2 lb sampler.

Very good AM coffee with a very soft mouthfeel, handles cream well and is nicely balanced. Lots of milk chocolate, roasted nuts and some baking spice. Roasted to first crack and then hit cool cycle on the Genie which was running about 456F.

Purchased one pound of this to give it a shot, and wowza. Roasted it in my SR500 to about 15ish seconds into second crack. One of the best coffees I've tried. Not the most beautiful green beans (like Bolivia), but it sure did deliver in taste. About to purchase some more, I sure do hope these beans stay consistent! Excited to find out though....

I have not been roasting long, air popper. But I must say so far this is my favorite, I only do dark roast, and these beans seem to take a bit longer to roast,so maybe the magic lies somewhere in there. If your looking for some fruity overtones go elsewhere, but if your looking for robust coffee flavor right down the middle, this is it.
